Tutoring

Kristina, Leah, and Rob provide free tutoring after school for any students/parents interested. Talk to your teacher about tutoring to find a good fit. This experience can range from individual instruction to free reading/technology time. Tutoring is a great way for your student to get ahead and have fun!

Battle of the Books

America's Battle of the Books is a voluntary reading incentive program for students in grades 3-12. The purpose is simply to encourage students to read good books and have fun while competing with peers. Ms. Leah and Mr. Rob will be the coaches for Diomede School this year, and in January we will compete with other schools in our district. If you are interested in acquiring battle books, please talk to your student's teacher.

Library Loan

Here on Diomede, we love readers. If you would like to borrow some fresh reading materials, talk to our friendly school staff about borrowing any number of our books from our well stocked library. The more you read, the smarter you get! The smarter you get, the more you read!
